Unlike solvent-based methods, the Swiss Water Process™ uses only pure water, temperature, and time to gently remove 99.9% of caffeine while preserving the delicate flavour compounds that define the origin. The result is a clean, chemical-free cup that honours both the farmer’s work and the coffee’s natural character.
Origin Story: Peru – Café Femenino
Founded in 2004, the Café Femenino program empowers women coffee producers across Latin America. In Peru, women cultivate coffee in the Andean highlands of Lambayeque and Cajamarca, at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 masl. Farms are small-scale, averaging less than 5 hectares, and managed organically with shade-grown practices.
By participating in Café Femenino, women receive fair compensation, direct market access, and social support, creating positive change for families and communities. This coffee is as much about social impact as it is about flavour.
Tasting Notes
Bright zesty lemon and caramel notes. A juicy body with green apple and lemon acidity. Coating vanilla in the finish.. The cup is medium-bodied with a creamy texture.
